![]() Often when you successfully complete a task you’ll receive audible recognition, like a swelling of the music or a click of a lock opening. Rusty Lake features a beautiful soundtrack in and of itself, but turning up the sound and listening is beneficial to puzzles, as well. Your final goal for each stage is always to make the white square appear, which will allow you to exit: often completing a character’s request will make the square appear, but if not, that is your secondary goal. If you tap the character’s head, they’ll display a thought bubble of what they want, which is usually your current or overall goal. Often your goal for a stage is to meet their request, like getting them a certain item.
